Acts of Kindness and Community Calls to Action
Through Acts of Kindness we want to bring people together to help others. Some examples include projects like making scarves to distribute in the community and making tote bags out of t-shirts for local food pantries.
Community Calls to Action help individuals, families, and other non-profits. Examples of past Calls to Action include new and gently used clothing for children, baby items for an expectant mother, home goods for a homeless family moving into an apartment, and items for Concord’s Homeless Resource Center. We publicize the need on our Facebook page, coordinate the collection of items, and deliver them.
We also organize projects for groups of children in our communities to teach them and the generations to come about giving to others.
